Five days of agility is many days of agility and I

Five days of agility is many days of agility and I am very tired.
Things did not go how I wanted overall with Kaner's runs, but he had some great JWW NQ runs (a bar in one, and my stupid ass sending him over the wrong jump in another.) Saturday he earned his MXF title. 15 more until AKC recognizes what I already know and calls him a MFB.
On top of Jordan's Novice STD debut that resulted in a 1st and Q, he also earned his first T2B Q today. I messed him up in JWW which has been a bit of a theme for me with him lately. One day I might eventually learn to stop trying to handle him like he is Kane. 🤦‍♀️

Long list of homework and for one of these two dogs it might have actually amount to some kind of result 🤷‍♀️

Last year when I took Jordan to ASSA Nationals, he

Last year when I took Jordan to ASSA Nationals, he was only really starting to do agility. My plan was to do fun little circles and then leave, not even attempting a course, because our first few attempts the year prior showed me he found the ring stressful and didn't want to play. I really wanted him to learn that agility is super fun, so we just started doing little baby circles and having a big party for doing a few jumps at a time.
Sadly, on the third day, right before we walked in the ring, one of the big exit doors right near us slammed shut - and he did not want to do agility at all that day.

This year: Jordan got his 9th Q toward his MXJ, and debuted in Standard, taking 1st place and getting his first Q toward his NA.
.
I am so unbelievably proud of all the work we have done together over the past year and so thrilled with how much he LOVES getting out of his crate and excitedly pulling me to the ring when it's his turn now. My little baby doesn't just try his hardest, he is a very good boy.

Somebody better stop me, because I might be starting to think about expectations.

Everybody is all smiles when it's Easter Egg Hunt time, even Payton wearing bunny ears. 🥰
So even when I stack the deck (tucking eggs places rather than having them in easy view) and even when I cheat (literally standing with my feet next to a hidden egg and staring at Payton until he comes to "find" it) Rizzo still won with 13 eggs to Payton's 11 🤣 I tried, Payton!!
Kane and Jordan continue to suck at this, although Jordan found two this year, including the pink egg that was hidden under his slide and that was really impressive! But then he kept following me looking at me like 🤩 MOM KEEP TELLING ME I AM A CLEVER 🤩 and never found more 🤣🤣
